Peepal Foundation is a humane initiative by professionals from different walks of life but sharing a common purpose i.e contributing to bettering conditions of the lesser-privileged section of society.
This group of people resolved to move their compassion for the underprivileged, from the domain of consciousness, to the terrain of reality; And make it perform for the needy. Deliver for the downtrodden.

The Peepal tree, steady and dependable, with its great branches spread wide in PUNE, MUMBAI, LONAVALA, encompassing everyone in its warmth and shelter was the inspiration behind the name. And more importantly, the foundation is all about PEOPLE….needy, destitute, underprivileged.. the unwanted, the lonely and the social outcasts….children, aged, women or those afflicted with AIDS…or the ones just struggling to survive and keep their sanity intact.
